Simón Bross

Simón Bross, a director and producer of Mexican cinema, is one of the most awarded directors in the history of Latin American advertising.

As a director, he has won at the most important festivals in the world, including the London International Advertising Awards, New York Festivals, FIAP, Golden Circle, Clio Awards, and Cannes Lions.

He is the first (and only) Mexican filmmaker to be named a member of the “Hall of Fame” of FIAP, and served as President of the Production Jury at the FIAP in 2020. He has also served on the jury of the D&AD Creative Advertising Festival and the Ibero-American Advertising Festival.

For its part, the Creative Circle of Mexico honored him for his great career in the advertising industry. The Gunn Report of England placed him as one of the best advertising film directors in the world. He was a winner in The Crystal Screen Festival / Golden Volcano Award for his career, along with other awards.

He is also the executive producer of numerous narrative films such as WE ARE THE NOBLES and documentary films like DEVIL’S FREEDOM, which won Best Feature at the Guadalajara International Film Festival, the Amnesty International Documentary Award at the Berlinale International Festival of Cinema in Berlin, and the Ariel for best Documentary Feature.
