Brit is a self-described queer German-American-Puerto Rican. After graduating college she was thinking law school but ended up moving to NYC and working as an assistant to writer/director Joshua Zeman. There she learned to edit by cutting trailers for his movies, and wrote letters to serial killer Andre Rand who was the subject of Zeman’s film CROPSEY for Netflix.
Then it was off to DC to work at a content company, making YouTube videos blowing shit up in the parking lot. They went viral and W&K picked her up to work in their social content studio where she was exposed to the full scope of the commercial world working with some of their top creatives. Cool, right?
Now she is on her own as a director and a photographer joining the FANCY roster of artists. Brit’s unique visual style has attracted partnerships with brands such as White Claw, Nike, Verizon, Twitter, and Puma.
In her work, she masterfully blurs reality using found footage techniques and combining media styles that break the fourth wall and invite viewers to experience her films, not just watch them.
Brit is also an adrenaline junky who enjoys cliff diving and riding motorcycles. So yeah.
